Slovenian authorities have increased state subsidies for new or used zero-emission cars and vans, with up to €6,500 available for cars costing less than €35,000. With the elimination of the previous 20% cost cap, cheaper vehicles will see the most benefit. For instance, the Dacia Spring’s post-subsidy cost drops from €17,680 to €15,600. For used vehicles, subsidies of up to €3,000 are available for cars worth up to €30,000, and €2,000 for those more expensive. New electric quad bikes, trikes, and motorcycles can receive between €300 and €1,500. The €8.5 million Eco Fund, responsible for the subsidies, can support approximately 1,300 vehicles with maximum subsidies. Source: sloveniatimes.com
