The World Latvian Economics and Innovation Forum (WLEIF) 2023 is being held in Riga, marking its 10th year of fostering connections between Latvian entrepreneurs and those in diaspora. The forum has previously convened in Riga, Valmiera, and Melbourne. This year, the focus is on pivotal sectors for Latvia’s economy including biomedicine, green technologies, pharmaceuticals, smart energy, and transport. Pēteris Blumbergs, Chairman of the World Federation of Free Latvians (PBLA), expresses hope to spotlight Latvia’s potential and fortify the business community. The conference will tackle four key themes introduced by experts, concluding with discussions. The event, organized by the PBLA and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, is hosted at the National Library of Latvia.
