A survey conducted by Moller Baltic Import shows that 43% of Estonians would prefer to purchase an electric or hybrid vehicle. Of the 700 respondents, 70% viewed low fuel consumption as a critical factor when buying a car. Women are slightly more likely to prefer fuel-efficient vehicles (45%) compared to men (41%). The preference for electric or hybrid cars peaks in the 40-49 age group, with 50% favoring these types of cars. The rise in electric vehicle preference aligns with the growing number of charging stations and the increasing driving range of electric cars. In addition, more fully electric Volkswagen models were sold in the Baltic states this year compared to last year.
